Owned and operated by me, Marc Ornstein, Dogpaddle Canoe Works is located outside the quaint village of Honeoye Falls, on the northern edge of the New York State fingerlakes region. It is a beautiful area with many opportunities to paddle.

I've been a woodworker for most of my life and became seriously interested in building canoes and paddles about fifteen years ago.

My boats and paddles are built one at a time, generally to specifications provided by the buyer.  When you contact Dogpaddle Canoe Works you will be dealing directly with me. This is a one man business with only one goal; building the finest cedar strip canoes and custom paddles. Whether you want a fine canoe or paddle to use and enjoy or are looking for a unique display piece, I'd be honored to build it for you.
